Pasir Putih

There are some white sandy beaches on south Buru sub district with beautiful natural panorama and the sea is good for swimming. Those are Nalbesi beach and Fogi beach on Leksula village and Wall beach on Namrole village.

 

Oki islet

Beautiful underwater sceneries, white sandy beaches, and good sea for fishing are on Oki islet. Oki islet lies one mile across the Wall beach on Namrole village. Some one must take a traditional canoe or a motor boat which takes 20 minutes to arrive there.

 

North Buru

On the north west of Buru, there are 2 waterfalls, Metar waterfall on the south east north appr. 20 m high on Grandeng village, 60 m from Namlea. Waprea waterfall on east north Buru, Waipotih village 74 km from Namlea. These 2 waterfalls are accessible by boarding the public car from Namlea to Grandeng village, Rp. 4.000,- and to Waipotih village Rp. 5.000,- per person.

The Exotic Tomaho Island

Located in Biloro Village, South Buru District. The island was named by the ancestor means guard of the island. It's beauty and unique scenery could be seen at sunrise, when the sun shine through "Kepala Madan" Mountain and Pasir Putih Village surround Tomaho Island. "Kepala Madan" Mountain is like a pyramid rounded by green mountains, beautiful white sandy beaches with its amazing underwater world. Friendly people will always welcome tourists visiting Tomaho Island. We could reach this island by speedboat more or less 200 meters from Biloro Village. 

"Air Jin" Waterfal

Located 200 meters from Tomaho Village, the water comes from the foot of "Kepala Madan" Mountain. Besides its natural beauty the site also has a historical background proved by big footprint at the big rock in front of it's cave. It has 9 cave guard by 3 princess at "Kepala Madan" Mountain. Their duty are protecting and preserve the environment. Local people use the water for their daily need particularly "Pasir Putih" and "Nanali" Village. We could reach the site by speed boat or local boat more or less 300 meters from Tomaho Village.  

"Air Babunyi" Site

In the past named "Wae Gogon Wae" or "Air Gogon", combination of these 2 words in local language became "Air Babunyi" (water that could produce sound). The site is unique because there are the stones and white sand surround it. It offer beuatiful scenery at the sunrise when the sun shine through it's white sand, also at the sunset. It is believe that the water guard by a princess live at the gate of the water. We could reach the site by speedboat 500 meters from Leksula Village.  

Masnana Beach

A beautiful white sandy beach located in Masnana Village, Namrole, South Buru District where local and international tourists ussually spend their time. Known as "Bohi" in the past means under, then the ancestor changed the name became "Masnana" according to the "Masnana" Water flow through the village. The water has historical value because it guard by a princess sometimes show herself. The princess life at the village's gate.  

Wali Beach

Located in Wali Village, Namrole, South Buru District. Beside it's natural beuaty, the site has historical background proved by the heritage and promises of the ancestor written it "Batu Sipat" and "Batu Batas" in Wali Village. Named Wali came from local languages means brother in law or son in law.
